        AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to the transfer  of  funds
          from  a  candidate's  political  committee  for  a federal office to a
          candidate's political committee for a state, county or local office
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  1  of  section 14-114 of the election law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph d to read as follows:
     3    d. The transfer of funds from a candidate's political committee for  a
     4  federal  office to a candidate's political committee for a state, county
     5  or  local  office  shall  be  restricted  per  the  contribution  limits
     6  prescribed  in  paragraphs a and b of this subdivision. For the purposes
     7  of this section a federal candidate committee shall  be  treated  as  an
     8  individual contributor.
     9    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
    10  have become a law.
