        AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to the casting of votes in
          New York city
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1. The opening paragraph of subdivision 6 of section 7-116 of
     2  the election law is amended to read as follows:
     3    In the city of New York, the ballot [on the voting machine]  used  for
     4  casting  a  vote  for  primary  elections shall conform to the following
     5  additional provisions:
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.
