        AN ACT in relation to prohibiting state funds from being used to provide
          post-secondary courses in state prisons
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  This act shall be known and may be cited as the "New York
     2  State Kids Before Cons Act."
     3    § 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no state funds  shall
     4  be  used to provide or assist in providing a post-secondary course to an
     5  inmate in a state prison.
     6    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
