        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  abandoned  property  law, in relation to notice
          requirements for unclaimed property
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1.  Subdivision 3 of section 601 of the abandoned property law
     2  is amended by adding a new paragraph (d) to read as follows:
     3    (d)  a  phone number of the agency, authority, department, division or
     4  office listing such unclaimed or abandoned property. Such  phone  number
     5  shall  be  listed  conspicuously, in a font size larger than that of any
     6  names listed.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
