MORINELLO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities -- recommitted to the Committee on Cities in accordance with Assembly Rule 3, sec. 2 -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring that no traffic-control signal shall indicate a green light for traffic while a pedestrian-control signal at such intersection displays a signal indicating walk for the pedestrian The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The administrative code of the city of New York is amended 2 by adding a new section 19-196.1 to read as follows: 3 § 19-196.1 Pedestrian-control signals. No traffic-control signal 4 shall indicate a green light for traffic while a pedestrian-control 5 signal at such intersection displays a signal indicating walk or a 6 steady walking person. 7 § 2.
