        AN  ACT  to  amend the public health law, in relation to the fee charged
          for the issuance of birth and death records in the city of Oneida

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision  3 of section 4173 of the
     2  public health law, as added by chapter 293  of  the  laws  of  2019,  is
     3  amended to read as follows:
     4    (b)  Notwithstanding paragraph (a) of this subdivision, in the follow-
     5  ing county jurisdictions the fee shall  be  set  by  the  county  health
     6  commissioner:  Chemung, Monroe, Onondaga, Tompkins; and in the following
     7  local jurisdictions the fee shall be set by the local legislative  body:
     8  city  of  Oswego, city of Albany, city of Oneida. In such jurisdictions,
     9  the fee may be set up to the  amount  charged  by  the  commissioner  as
    10  prescribed  in subdivision two of section forty-one hundred seventy-four
    11  of this title.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
