       AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in  relation  to  requiring
         periodic inspection of motor vehicle windows
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Paragraph 1 of subdivision (c) of section 301 of the  vehi-
    2  cle  and traffic law is amended by adding a new subparagraph (c) to read
    3  as follows:
    4    (C) SUCH SAFETY INSPECTION SHALL INCLUDE AN EXAMINATION OF THE WINDOWS
    5  OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS  OF  PARA-
    6  GRAPH  (B) OF SUBDIVISION TWELVE-A OF SECTION THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE
    7  OF THIS TITLE.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
    9  have become a law.
