        AN ACT to exempt military re-enactors from the provisions of  chapter  1
          of the laws of 2013
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the  contra-
     2  ry,  military re-enactors who are not residents of the state of New York
     3  and who bring weapons into the state of New York for the sole purpose of
     4  using such weapons in the course of staging  military  battle  re-enact-
     5  ments  shall  be  exempt from the provisions of chapter 1 of the laws of
     6  2013.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
