        AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
          prohibiting certain frozen beverages containing alcohol
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The alcoholic beverage control law is amended by  adding  a
     2  new section 132 to read as follows:
     3    §  132.  Prohibiting  certain frozen beverages containing alcohol.  It
     4  shall be unlawful to sell, offer for sale either in  person  or  online,
     5  deliver  or  give  away  any  frozen  beverage containing alcohol, sugar
     6  and/or artificial sweetener in this state  without  prior  authorization
     7  from the state liquor authority.
     8    The provisions of this section shall apply to beverages denominated as
     9  "phrosties" and such similar beverages.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
