        AN  ACT to amend the county law, in relation to authorizing the counties
          of Nassau and Suffolk to waive certain fees  for  veteran's  organiza-
          tions
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The county law is amended by adding a new section 226-c  to
     2  read as follows:
     3    §  226-c. Waiver of fees for veterans organizations. The county legis-
     4  lature of Nassau county or Suffolk county is hereby authorized to  waive
     5  fees,  including but not limited to building permit review fees and fees
     6  associated with capital improvements to any post  or  hall  owned  by  a
     7  not-for-profit  congressionally chartered veterans' organization located
     8  in such county.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
