        Introduced by M. of A. FALL -- (at request of the Metropolitan Transpor-
          tation Authority) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
          rations, Authorities and Commissions

        AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter  206 of the laws of 2010 amending the public
          authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan  transporta-
          tion  authority  small  business mentoring program, in relation to the
          effectiveness thereof

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. Section 3 of chapter 206 of the laws of 2010, amending the
     2  public authorities law relating to establishing the metropolitan  trans-
     3  portation authority small business mentoring program, is amended to read
     4  as follows:
     5    § 3.  This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire December
     6  31,  [2019] 2029 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be
     7  deemed repealed; provided that such expiration shall not apply to  pend-
     8  ing  and  awarded public work contracts and provided further that effec-
     9  tive immediately, the addition, amendment or repeal of any  rule,  regu-
    10  lation  or  standard necessary for the implementation of this act on its
    11  effective date are authorized and directed to be made and  completed  on
    12  or before such effective date.
    13    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
