        AN  ACT  to  amend  the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to a
          license to sell liquor at retail for consumption on certain premises

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  7  of  section  64 of the alcoholic beverage
     2  control law is amended by adding a  new  paragraph  (e-12)  to  read  as
     3  follows:
     4    (e-12)  Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (a) of this subdi-
     5  vision, the  authority  may  issue  a  retail  license  for  on-premises
     6  consumption  for  a  premises  which shall be located within two hundred
     7  feet of a building occupied as a church, synagogue  or  other  place  of
     8  worship,  provided  such  premises constitute a premises for the sale of
     9  food or beverages at retail for  consumption  on  the  premises  located
    10  wholly  within  the  boundaries  of  the  Borough of Brooklyn, county of
    11  Kings, bounded and described as follows:
    12    ALL THAT CERTAIN plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and
    13  improvements thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the Borough of
    14  Brooklyn, County of Kings, City and  State  of  New  York,  bounded  and
    15  described as follows:
    16    BEGINNING  at  a  point  on  the  northerly  side of Lafayette Avenue,
    17  distant 43 feet westerly from the corner formed by the  intersection  of
    18  the  northerly  side  of  Lafayette Avenue with the westerly side of St.
    19  Felix Street, which point is opposite the center line of a party wall on
    20  the premises herein described and the premises adjoining on the east;
    21    RUNNING THENCE westerly along the northerly side of Lafayette  Avenue,
    22  21  feet  6  inches to a point opposite the center line of another party
    23  wall on the premises herein described  and  premises  adjoining  on  the
    24  west;
    25    THENCE  northerly parallel with the westerly side of St. Felix Street,
    26  and part of the distance through a party  wall,  100  feet  to  a  point
    27  distant  63  feet  westerly  (deed)  64 feet 6 inches (tax map) from the
    28  westerly side of St. Felix Street measuring along a line drawn at  right

         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.

     1  angles  thereto from a point thereon distant 100 feet northerly from the
     2  corner formed by the intersection of the  northerly  side  of  Lafayette
     3  Avenue with the westerly side of St. Felix Street;
     4    THENCE  easterly  parallel with the northerly side of Lafayette Avenue
     5  and at right angles to St. Felix Street, 21 feet 6 inches;
     6    THENCE southerly parallel with  St.  Felix  Street  and  part  of  the
     7  distance  through a party wall, 100 feet to the northerly side of Lafay-
     8  ette Avenue at the point or place of BEGINNING.
     9    For Information Only: Said premises are known as 33 Lafayette  Avenue,
    10  Brooklyn, NY and designated as Block 2108 Lot 19 as shown on the Tax Map
    11  of the City of New York, County of Kings.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
