        AN ACT directing the board of  elections  to  canvass  certain  absentee
          ballots for elections held June 23, 2020

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to  the  contrary,  an
     2  absentee ballot for any election held June 23, 2020, received by a board
     3  of  elections between June 23, 2020 and June 30, 2020 that does not bear
     4  or display a dated postmark shall be presumed to have been timely mailed
     5  or delivered, and shall be canvassed by such board for such election.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
