        AN  ACT  to  amend  the  public  health  law, in relation to designating
          certain opiates as schedule I and II substances; and to repeal certain
          provisions of such law relating thereto
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subdivision (b) of schedule I of section 3306 of the public
     2  health  law  is  amended by adding three new paragraphs 58, 59 and 60 to
     3  read as follows:
     4    (58) N-(1-phenethylpiperdin-4-yl)-N-phenylfuran-2-carboxamide (Furanyl
     5  Fentanyl).
     6    (59) N-phenyl-N-{1-(2-phenylethyl)-4-piperidinyl}-pentanamide (Valeryl
     7  Fentanyl, Pentanoyl Fentanyl, Pentanyl Fentanyl).
     8    (60) U-47700(3,4-dichloro-N-(2-(dimethylamino)cyclohexyl)-N-methyl-ben-
     9  zamide)yl.
    10    § 2. Subdivision (c) of schedule II of  section  3306  of  the  public
    11  health law is amended by adding a new paragraph 29 to read as follows:
    12    (29) 4-(methoxycarbonyl)-4-(N-phenmethoxyacetamido)-1-{2-(thienyl)
    13  ethyl}piperidine(Thiafentanil).
    14    §  3. Paragraph 6 of subdivision (c) of schedule II of section 3306 of
    15  the public health law is REPEALED.
    16    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
