        Introduced  by  Sen. SANDERS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health
        AN ACT to direct the New York state department of health  to  conduct  a
          study on the incidences of asthma in cities having a population of one
          hundred thousand or more and to prepare a report
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The commissioner of the New York state department of health
     2  is hereby authorized and directed to prepare or have prepared a study of
     3  the incidences of asthma in  all  cities  having  a  population  of  one
     4  hundred  thousand  or  more. The study and report shall include a map of
     5  each city indicating each incident of asthma.
     6    § 2. The study shall be completed by September thirtieth, two thousand
     7  twenty-one.
     8    § 3. The report and an interactive map shall be completed  and  posted
     9  on  the  department  of  health's website by January first, two thousand
    10  twenty-two.
    11    § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
