       Introduced  by  Sens.  GRIFFO, AVELLA -- read twice and ordered printed,
         and when printed to be committed to the  Committee  on  Investigations
         and  Government  Operations  --  committee  discharged,  bill amended,
         ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
       AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to sales
         and deliveries of liquor and wine to not-for-profit organizations
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Section  101-aa  of the alcoholic beverage control law is
    2  amended by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:
    3    2-A. NOTWITHSTANDING SECTION TWO OF THIS CHAPTER,  A  MANUFACTURER  OR
    4  WHOLESALER  LICENSED  UNDER THIS CHAPTER SHALL SELL OR DELIVER LIQUOR OR
    5  WINE TO ANY NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ON TERMS  REQUIRING  PAYMENT  BY
    6  SUCH  NOT-FOR-PROFIT  ORGANIZATION  FOR  SUCH  ALCOHOLIC  BEVERAGE ON OR
    7  BEFORE THE FINAL PAYMENT DATE OF THE CREDIT PERIOD FOR WHICH DELIVERY IS
    8  MADE.
    9    S 2. Section 101-aaa of the alcoholic beverage control law is  amended
   10  by adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows:

   17    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
