        Introduced  by  Sen.  MAYER  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
        AN ACT to amend the highway law, in relation to designating  portion  of
          the  state highway system as "The NYPD Det. TSgt. Joseph G. Lemm Memo-
          rial Bridge"
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The highway law is amended by adding a new section 344-i to
     2  read as follows:
     3    § 344-i. Portion of state highway system to be designated as "The NYPD
     4  Det.  TSgt.    Joseph G. Lemm Memorial Bridge". The bridge crossing over
     5  interstate route two hundred eighty-seven, intersecting with Westchester
     6  Avenue in the town of Harrison, county of Westchester,  currently  known
     7  as the white plains avenue bridge, shall be designated and known as "The
     8  NYPD Det. TSgt. Joseph G. Lemm Memorial Bridge".
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.
