        Introduced  by  Sen.  RANZENHOFER -- read twice and ordered printed, and
          when printed to be committed to the Committee on Higher Education
        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  authorizing  pharma-
          cists  to  administer  influenza immunizations to persons six years of
          age or older
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section  1.  Section  6801 of the education law is amended by adding a
     2  new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6. a licensed  pharmacist  may  administer  immunizations  to  prevent
     4  influenza to persons six years of age or older.
     5    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
     6  have become a law, provided, however, that  the  amendments  to  section
     7  6801  of  the  education  law  made by section one of this act shall not
     8  affect the expiration of such section and  shall  be  deemed  to  expire
     9  therewith.
