        Introduced  by  Sen. KRUEGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Corporations,  Authorities
          and Commissions
        AN ACT to dissolve the United Charities, a nonprofit corporation
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. The United Charities, a nonprofit corporation  incorporated
     2  by  chapter  159 of the laws of 1892, which chapter was entitled "An Act
     3  to incorporate the United Charities of the city of New York," having  in
     4  the  year  2014  obtained approval from the New York State Office of the
     5  Attorney General and the Supreme Court of  the  State  of  New  York  to
     6  alienate its sole asset, the United Charities Building, and in that year
     7  having alienated said asset and ceased operations, is hereby dissolved.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
