          printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor

        AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to the model  sexual  harass-
          ment prevention training program

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 201-g of the labor law is  amended
     2  by adding two new paragraphs d and e to read as follows:
     3    d.  Such  model sexual harassment prevention training program shall be
     4  made available on the department's website, at no  cost,  and  shall  be
     5  available  in a format that prompts employees with interactive questions
     6  that are to be answered correctly by employees in order to complete  the
     7  training  program  in a manner determined by the department in consulta-
     8  tion with the division of human rights.
     9    e. Utilizing the model sexual harassment prevention  training  program
    10  pursuant  to  paragraph d of this subdivision shall be deemed sufficient
    11  for meeting the training requirements pursuant to paragraph  c  of  this
    12  subdivision  for  each  year  that  it  is provided to all employees and
    13  utilized.
    14    § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
    15  have become a law.
