        Introduced  by  Sen.  SERINO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government

        AN ACT to repeal section 624 of the general municipal  law  relating  to
          the Poughkeepsie urban renewal agency

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 624 of the general municipal law is REPEALED.
     2    § 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the  contrary,  any
     3  existing  records,  property, rights, titles and interest of the city of
     4  Poughkeepsie urban renewal agency shall vest in and be possessed by  the
     5  city of Poughkeepsie and its successors or assigns.
     6    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
