        Introduced  by  Sen.  LANZA  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes
        AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to  public  lewdness  in  the
          first degree
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 245.03 of the penal law, as  added
     2  by chapter 186 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows:
     3    2.  he  or  she  commits  the  crime of public lewdness, as defined in
     4  section 245.00 of this article, and [within the preceding year] has been
     5  convicted of [an offense defined in] such [section 245.00] crime or of a
     6  violation of this section within the preceding three years.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed-
     8  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.

                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.
