BUCHWALD -- read once and referred to the Committee on Local Governments -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said commit- tee AN ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to authorizing the lease of space on certain sports field fences in the town of New Castle, in the county of Westchester The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The general municipal law is amended by adding a new 2 section 77-h to read as follows: 3 § 77-h. Sports field fence leases in the town of New Castle, Westches- 4 ter county. Notwithstanding any provision of any general, special or 5 local law or of any charter to the contrary, the town of New Castle, in 6 the county of Westchester, may lease any and all sports field fences at 7 Gedney park, Millwood park and the Recreation Field annually, at a nomi- 8 nal rent, to a not-for-profit corporation or organization, organized 9 under the laws of the state of New York for the purpose of permitting 10 the sale of advertising, with the revenues to be used solely for the 11 care of said parks and field in the town of New Castle, Westchester 12 county. 13 § 2.
