        Introduced  by  Sen.  COMRIE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules

        AN ACT providing for the postponement of the New York city 2020 tax lien
          sale until one year after the COVID-19 state  of  emergency  has  been
          lifted

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the  contrary,  the
     2  New  York  city 2020 tax lien sale, which was originally scheduled to be
     3  held on May 15, 2020 and has since further been delayed, shall be  post-
     4  poned  and shall not occur until one year from the date the state disas-
     5  ter emergency declared pursuant to executive order 202 of 2020 has  been
     6  lifted.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
