AN ACT
Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, further providing for Pennsylvania Gaming Control
Board established.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1201(h)(2) 1201(h) of Title 4 of the <--
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended and the subsection <--
is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
§ 1201. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board established.

(h) Qualifications and restrictions.--
* * *
(2) Except for ex officio members, no person shall be <--
appointed a member of the board or be employed by or be an
independent contractor of the board if that person is a
public official or party officer as defined in section 1512
(relating to financial and employment interests) in this
Commonwealth or any of its political subdivisions. The
following public officials may not be appointed a member of
the board during the two-year period following the
termination of the official's term of office:
(i) The Governor.
(ii) The Attorney General.
(iii) The Auditor General.
(iv) A member of the General Assembly.
(2.1) No officer, director or key employee of a gaming <--
licensed entity licensed under this part at any time during <--
the previous four years shall be appointed a member of the
board for two years following termination of the term of <--
office or employment with the licensed entity.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
