| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for nonresidents. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. Section 2703 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania |
6 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
7 | § 2703. Nonresidents. |
8 | [For] (a) Requirements.--Except as provided under subsection |
9 | (b), for the purpose of this title, any person unable to meet |
10 | the requirements of section 2702 (relating to residents) shall |
11 | be a nonresident. |
12 | (b) Exception.--A nonresident owner of a parcel of farmland |
13 | and the owner's spouse, children and children's spouses shall be |
14 | considered residents for the purpose of licensing under section |
15 | 2702 if all of the following apply: |
16 | (1) The parcel of farmland is located within this |
17 | Commonwealth and a contiguous state. |

1 | (2) The owner's, owner's spouse, children or children's |
2 | spouses' primary residence is located on the parcel of |
3 | farmland which is located in the contiguous state. |
4 | (3) The contiguous state extends similar privileges to |
5 | residents of this Commonwealth. |
6 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
