AN ACT

Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

2

Statutes, further providing for nonresidents.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

4

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 2703 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania

6

Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

7

§ 2703.  Nonresidents.

8

[For] (a)  Requirements.--Except as provided under subsection

9

(b), for the purpose of this title, any person unable to meet

10

the requirements of section 2702 (relating to residents) shall

11

be a nonresident.

(b)  Exception.--A nonresident owner of a parcel of farmland

13

and the owner's spouse, children and children's spouses shall be

14

considered residents for the purpose of licensing under section

15

2702 if all of the following apply:

16

(1)  The parcel of farmland is located within this

17

Commonwealth and a contiguous state.

(2)  The owner's, owner's spouse, children or children's

2

spouses' primary residence is located on the parcel of

3

farmland which is located in the contiguous state.

4

(3)  The contiguous state extends similar privileges to

5

residents of this Commonwealth.

6

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
