AN ACT
Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, providing
for guiding principles in fisheries and aquatic resource
management decisions.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 30 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
§ 329. Guiding principles in fisheries and aquatic resource
management decisions.
In all fisheries and aquatic resource management decisions,
the commission shall be guided by the principles of best
management practices utilizing scientific analysis supported by
verifiable data with equal regard for the social, economic and
recreational impacts of its decisions.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
