A RESOLUTION

Recognizing the Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center for its service

2

to Lancaster County.

3

WHEREAS, This Commonwealth is always proud to recognize those

4

institutions which contribute to the well-being of their

5

communities and ultimately to all the citizens of Pennsylvania;

6

and

7

WHEREAS, The Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center of Lancaster

8

County recently obtained a three-year accreditation by the

9

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

10

for its Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs - Single

11

Service (Pediatric Family-Centered); and

12

WHEREAS, One of only six facilities in the United States

13

accredited by the CARF for outpatient medical rehabilitation

programs, the Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center has been

2

providing medical-based rehabilitation services for nearly 75

3

years to individuals 20 years of age or younger; and

4

WHEREAS, To its great credit, the center has been recognized

5

by the CARF in the Aspire to Excellence category for

6

demonstrating corporate social responsibility by identifying

7

leadership that embraces the values of accountability and

8

responsibility to the individual organization's stated mission;

9

therefore be it

10

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the

11

Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center for its richly deserved

12

accreditation and offer best wishes for continued success in the

13

future.
