A RESOLUTION

Recognizing September 10, 2012, as "Brother to Brother Day" in

2

this Commonwealth.

WHEREAS, September 10, 2012, is a day on which all military

4

personnel, veterans and first responders will honor one another

5

with a salute and a handshake of honor; and

6

WHEREAS, The Commonwealth thanks Lance Robinson, of Export,

7

Pennsylvania, and extends its appreciation to him for his

8

service to our country as a United States Marine; and

9

WHEREAS, The Commonwealth joins his efforts in bringing

10

awareness to our uniformed personnel honoring one another for

11

their service and sacrifice; and

12

WHEREAS, Those who have protected the lives of our fellow

13

Americans, our dedicated military personnel, from patrolling our

14

shores to liberating oppressed populations, have worked

15

selflessly on the front lines to make an immeasurable difference

in our local communities and across the globe; and

2

WHEREAS, First responders work selflessly side-by-side on

3

behalf of the people of this country; and

4

WHEREAS, Our military personnel, veterans and first

5

responders make personal sacrifices every day to serve their

6

country and communities; and

7

WHEREAS, Our uniformed personnel exhibit great dedication to

8

protecting and ensuring public safety and freedom; and

9

WHEREAS, Brother to Brother Day is a time to encourage all

10

citizens to acknowledge the courageous men and women who have

11

answered the call of duty and to express their sincere

12

appreciation to all military personnel, veterans and first

13

responders in our communities and across America; therefore be

14

it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives encourage all

16

citizens to join our military personnel, veterans and first

17

responders in honoring one another for their profound dedication

18

and service to this country; and be it further

19

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize

20

September 10, 2012, as "Brother to Brother Day" in this

21

Commonwealth; and be it further

22

RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to

23

Lance Robinson at 2828 Italy Road, Export, Pennsylvania 15632.
