Summary

As introduced, allows a court to grant a restraining order to either or both parties at an order of protection hearing, without requiring a separate action, if both the petitioner and respondent have had the opportunity to be heard by the court; allows the court to dismiss an order of protection or petition for an order of protection. - Amends TCA Title 36, Chapter 3, Part 6.
