| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. (a) The Texas Lottery Commission shall conduct a | ||
| study to evaluate the potential state fiscal impact of the | ||
| commission contracting with one or more for-profit businesses to | ||
| advertise or promote the lottery. | ||
| (b) Not later than December 1, 2020, the Texas Lottery | ||
| Commission shall submit to the governor, lieutenant governor, and | ||
| speaker of the house of representatives a report of the findings of | ||
| the study conducted under Subsection (a) of this section. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
