| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Chapter 432, Health and Safety Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Section 432.0175 to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 432.0175. SALE OF PROPHYLACTIC CONTAINING | ||
| NITROSAMINES PROHIBITED. (a) In this section, "prophylactic" | ||
| means a device intended to prevent disease. The term includes a | ||
| condom. | ||
| (b) A person may not sell a prophylactic containing | ||
| nitrosamines in this state. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
