H.C.R. No. 191

HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 3906 has been adopted by the house of
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for
enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The bill contains a technical error that should be
corrected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the 86th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
to make the following correction:
In SECTION 3 of the bill, in amended Section 39.023(a-12),
Education Code, strike Subdivision (1) and substitute the
following:
(1) if administered to students in grades three and
four [through five], 85 percent of students will be able to complete
that part [the assessment instrument] within 60 [120] minutes; and
