R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Donald David Naiser of San Antonio, who passed away on March 31,
  2022, at the age of 79; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Joseph and Viola Naiser, Donald Naiser
  was born in El Campo on October 17, 1942, and he grew up with the
  companionship of two brothers, Fred and Joe Eddie; he earned a
  degree in agricultural engineering from Texas A&M University; and
         WHEREAS, After working for Central Power and Light and
  Drymalla Construction, Mr. Naiser joined Wharton County Electric
  Cooperative; over the course of his 23-year career with that
  company, he served as general manager and chief executive officer
  before retiring in 2010; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Naiser enjoyed the love
  and support of his wife, Barbara, with whom he shared a rewarding
  marriage that spanned more than five and a half decades; he took
  great pride in their sons, Derek, Brian, Dodd, and Marcus, and over
  the years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family 10
  grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Donald Naiser lived a life that was rich in personal
  and professional achievements, and he will forever be remembered
  with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Donald David Naiser
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Barbara Kutach Naiser; to his sons, Derek Naiser and his wife,
  Susan, Brian Naiser and his wife, Kristine, Dodd Naiser and his
  wife, Katerina, and Marcus Naiser and his wife, Angela; to his
  grandchildren, Katie, Cassie, Clay, Logan, Brooke, Elizabeth,
  Isabella, Brandt, Carson, and Davis; and to his other relatives and
  many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Donald
  Naiser.
