R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Nancy Mendoza is graduating with honors from Lincoln
  Park High School in Brownsville in 2019, and she indeed merits
  special recognition for this significant achievement; and
         WHEREAS, Graduating with honors requires not only intellect
  and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the highest
  academic standards; the daughter of Rocio Mendoza, Ms. Mendoza
  demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects
  to secure her place as an honors graduate, and her attainment of
  this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
  high school career; and
         WHEREAS, During her years at Lincoln Park High School, Nancy
  Mendoza has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers
  and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and
  commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
  promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Nancy Mendoza on graduating with
  honors as a member of the Lincoln Park High School Class of 2019 and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
  begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Mendoza as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
