R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Entrepreneurs and the small businesses they create
  play an essential role in the Texas economy, generating jobs and
  enhancing the overall vitality of the communities they serve; and
         WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 2015, the restaurant
  Juniper has built an admirable reputation in the Austin area and
  made an important contribution to the city's vibrant dining scene;
  and
         WHEREAS, Juniper benefits from the inspired leadership of
  owner and chef Nic Yanes, a native of Cypress and a graduate of the
  Western Culinary Institute who was previously chef and creative
  director at the popular Uchi restaurant in Austin; his new
  restaurant features contemporary Northern Italian cuisine, made
  with locally sourced ingredients; and
         WHEREAS, The owners and staff of Juniper are helping to make
  the enterprise a Lone Star success story, and they may take
  justifiable pride in their achievements; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Juniper as a noteworthy member of the
  Austin business community and extend to all those associated with
  the restaurant sincere best wishes for the future; and be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Juniper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
