R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Alexander Uhlmann has ably served the people of
  Texas as a policy analyst in the office of State Representative
  Jessica González during the 86th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Uhlmann has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, and he has worked on
  matters related to affordable housing and urban affairs; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Uhlmann earned his bachelor's degree in
  political science from the University of Memphis; while an
  undergraduate, he campaigned for several candidates, and he drafted
  research on issues of public health and early childhood education
  in the Mississippi Delta; he currently attends The University of
  Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing dual master's degrees in
  public affairs and community and regional planning; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has performed his duties
  as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Alexander Uhlmann for his service as a
  policy analyst in the office of State Representative Jessica
  González and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Uhlmann as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
