WHEREAS, Alexander Uhlmann has ably served the people of | ||
Texas as a policy analyst in the office of State Representative | ||
Jessica González during the 86th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Uhlmann has provided | ||
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; | ||
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, and he has worked on | ||
matters related to affordable housing and urban affairs; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Uhlmann earned his bachelor's degree in | ||
political science from the University of Memphis; while an | ||
undergraduate, he campaigned for several candidates, and he drafted | ||
research on issues of public health and early childhood education | ||
in the Mississippi Delta; he currently attends The University of | ||
Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing dual master's degrees in | ||
public affairs and community and regional planning; and | ||
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has performed his duties | ||
as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and he is indeed | ||
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, | ||
be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Alexander Uhlmann for his service as a | ||
policy analyst in the office of State Representative Jessica | ||
González and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Uhlmann as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. | ||
