| relating to the length of the term of an existing comprehensive | ||
| development agreement for State Highway 130. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 223.208, Transportation Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Subsection (h-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (h-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (h), a comprehensive | ||
| development agreement entered into on or before March 22, 2007 for | ||
| State Highway 130 from U.S. Highway 183 to Interstate Highway 10 | ||
| (Segments 5 and 6) may be amended to extend the term of the | ||
| comprehensive development agreement up to an additional 20 years if | ||
| the amendment outlines the benefit the state will derive from | ||
| extending the term of the comprehensive development agreement. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2019. | ||
