SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 170
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize the Honorable Jack Robison, who retired on December 31,
  2022, after 28 years of distinguished service as district judge
  for the 207th Judicial District; and
         WHEREAS, Judge Robison attended Southwest Missouri State
  University, after which he earned his law degree from
  Saint Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio; he served
  as a municipal judge for the City of Boerne, where he fulfilled
  his duties with fairness and a concern for individual rights and
  respect for the law; on January 1, 1995, Judge Robison began his
  term as the district judge for the 207th Judicial District, which
  serves Comal, Hays, and Caldwell Counties; and
         WHEREAS, A champion for justice and a guardian of the
  people, Judge Robison adjudicated civil and criminal matters in
  his court; he presided over cases involving land disputes,
  divorces, and felony trials within the counties he was elected to
  protect; and
         WHEREAS, Diligent and principled, Judge Robison executed
  his responsibilities with diplomacy and impartiality; he is
  widely respected by his colleagues and members of the community
  for the high standard he has set for future generations of local
  leaders and lawmakers; after decades of exemplary service, Judge
  Robison leaves his district with a legacy of purpose, commitment,
  and honor; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
  Legislature, hereby commend Judge Jack Robison on his invaluable
  contributions to Texas throughout 28 years of service and extend
  to him congratulations on his retirement and best wishes for the
  future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  Judge Jack Robison as an expression of esteem from the Texas
  Senate.
