Summary

Allows a state or local government to use Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program funds for bail fairness programs. The term "bail fairness program" means a program that (1) does not impose monetary conditions of release on a person arrested for a misdemeanor, and (2) dismisses criminal charges against an offender who completes a pre-trial diversion program.
