Summary

Protection From Telemarketers Act - Amends the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act to require the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to include in rules respecting abusive telemarketing acts or practices a requirement that telemarketers not initiate any outbound telephone calls during the hours of 5 to 7 p.m. in the locality of the person called.
