Summary

Requires the President report to Congress within two weeks of a global pandemic declared by the World Health Organization concerning the status of federal planning for the response to the pandemic, including with respect to (1) planning and logistics for the delivery of health care, and (2) the use of authorities provided under the Defense Production Act of 1950. (This act confers upon the President a broad set of authorities to influence domestic industry in order to provide essential materials and goods needed for the national defense.)
