Summary

A bill to repeal the provision permitting the use of rocket engines from the Russian Federation for the evolved expendable launch vehicle program. This bill amends the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2016 to repeal, and deem never to have been enacted, the requirement that the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle service competitive procurements be open for award to all certified providers of such systems offering the best value to the government, regardless of the rocket engine's country of origin (including the Russian Federation), for the evolved expendable launch vehicle program.
