Summary

Requires the President to report to Congress a strategy to secure the enduring defeat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Al Qaeda in the Middle East. The report shall contain certain elements including (1) a description of U.S. interests and long-term goals for Syria; and (2) an analysis of threats to U.S. interests from ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Russia, Iran, and non-state actors in the region.
