Summary

Requires the installation of at least one carbon monoxide detector per floor in each unit of specified federally assisted housing. Specifically, the requirement applies to (1) supportive housing for the elderly and for persons with disabilities, (2) public housing, and (3) rental housing for which the owner receives low-income voucher assistance.
