Summary

This resolution recognizes March 29, 2019, as the bicentennial of the birth of Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise, founder of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the organizations now known as the Union for Reform Judaism and the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. The resolution recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of Rabbi Wise. It congratulates the Central Conference of American Rabbis on the 130th anniversary of its founding.
