AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE
(Proposed by the House Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions
on February 6, 2018)

A BILL to require the Board of Health to review regulations governing alternative onsite sewage systems.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That the Board of Health shall publish a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action for the regulations for alternative onsite sewage systems no later than October 1, 2018, and shall work with stakeholders to consider such regulatory amendments related to requirements governing sampling, field sampling procedures, performance requirements, and such other revisions to the regulations as may be deemed necessary by the Board.
