Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. That the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services shall convene a work group to study options and develop recommendations for addressing the treatment needs of individuals with complex medical needs who are experiencing a mental health crisis and require mental health treatment. The Department shall report its findings and conclusions to the Joint Subcommittee Studying Mental Health Services in the Commonwealth in the 21st Century by December 1, 2019.
