A BILL for appropriations for the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council for the two years ending respectively on the thirtieth day of June, 2015, and the thirtieth day of June, 2016.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1. The Division of Legislative Services is hereby authorized to provide staff support and expense reimbursement from its existing fiscal year 2015 budget, as set forth in Chapter 2 of the Acts of Assembly of 2014, Special Session I, as it currently exists or as it may be amended, for activities related to the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council (the Council) established pursuant to Chapters 792 and 804 of the Acts of Assembly of 2014.

§2. There is hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2016 an amount up to $221,000 to the Council for staff support and expense reimbursement for activities related to the Council. The appropriation shall be made from fiscal year 2014 unexpended balances of the General Assembly that had been carried forward and reappropriated pursuant to Item 1 of Chapter 2 of the Acts of Assembly of 2014, Special Session I, as it currently exists or as it may be amended. The Joint Rules Committee shall allocate the appropriation between the House of Delegates and the Senate of Virginia prior to July 1, 2015.
