A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18A-4-2d, relating to providing a salary increase for special education teachers.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 4. SALARIES, WAGES AND OTHER BENEFITS.


§18A-4-2d. Special education teacher salary increase.

An additional $500 shall be paid annually to certified full time special education teachers for each area of special education he or she is certified, up to a maximum of three areas or $1,500.


 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to provide a salary increase for special education teachers.
